Both Sunnis and Shiites fast during the month of Ramadan, abstaining from food, drink, smoking, and sexual activity from dawn until sunset. They break their fast with a meal called iftar, usually starting with dates and water. Sunnis and Shiites both believe that fasting during Ramadan is a way to purify the soul, practice self-discipline, and empathize with those less fortunate. The main difference in fasting practices between Sunnis and Shiites lies in the timing of the call to prayer signaling the end of the fast, known as iftar. **

It is not accurate or fair to label an entire group of people as "dangerous" based solely on their religious beliefs. Shiites, like any other religious group, are diverse and complex, and it is important to avoid making sweeping generalizations. It is crucial to approach individuals and communities with an open mind and to engage in respectful dialogue in order to understand and address any concerns or conflicts. It is important to recognize that individuals should be judged based on their actions and behavior, rather than their religious affiliation. **

Yes, Shiites and Sunnis have different times to break the fast during Ramadan. This is because they follow different methods to determine the timing of sunset, which marks the end of the fasting period for the day. Sunnis typically follow the calculation of sunset based on the position of the sun, while Shiites rely on the disappearance of the red twilight in the sky. As a result, there may be a slight variation in the timing of breaking the fast between the two sects. **

Yes, Shiites are Muslims. They are one of the two main branches of Islam, the other being Sunni. Shiites believe in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and the Quran, but they have different beliefs and practices compared to Sunnis, particularly in terms of leadership and succession after the Prophet's death. Despite these differences, both Shiites and Sunnis are considered Muslims and share the same core beliefs in one God, the Prophet Muhammad, and the Quran. **

Sunnis and Shiites are the two main branches of Islam. The division between the two groups originated from a disagreement over who should succeed the Prophet Muhammad as the leader of the Muslim community. Sunnis believe that the leader should be elected, while Shiites believe that the leader should be a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. This historical disagreement has led to differences in religious practices, beliefs, and interpretations of Islamic teachings between the two groups. Today, Sunnis make up the majority of the Muslim population, while Shiites are the largest minority. **
